The 2023 SPAR Human Resources (HR) Conference kicks off today in Vienna, bringing together colleagues driving this essential focus area of the business. Taking place from 26 -28 April, the event is being supported by SPAR Austria, the market leader in the domestic food retail market. The SPAR HR Conference will be a hybrid event with a varied programme.

Key HR topics such as the impact of the recession on employee experience, best practices in recruitment and managing retention challenges, the latest trends in training, and the role of technology in HR will be addressed.

In addition to SPAR country organisations sharing insights and learnings on HR-related issues, keynote speaker Ima Doze from AnalitiQs will present on best practices and key future trends in people analytics.

Enriching the programme will be a tour of the SPAR Academy in Vienna, a vocational school fully operated by SPAR Austria. Participants will also visit a SPAR Gourmet store and the award-winning INTERSPAR Hypermarket Schottentor, winner of the EuroShop RetailDesign Award 2023.
