Tokmanni, the SPAR licensed operator in Finland, has opened a EUROSPAR supermarket in Masku, western Finland, offering customers a versatile shopping experience focused on freshness, local products, and quality.

Local, fresh, quality

Located in the town of Masku, the EUROSPAR supermarket is the second to open in Finland, and will serve the 10,000 residents in the municipality. The new EUROSPAR supermarket operates within Tokmanni’s department store, creating a single, convenient destination with shared entrances and checkouts.

The EUROSPAR supermarket Masku features a renewed layout inspired by SPAR’s international best practices, similar to the first EUROSPAR supermarket in Finland in Ylöjärvi. Shoppers can enjoy hundreds of new products, a versatile salad bar, and the renowned SPAR Bakery, offering freshly baked breads, savoury pastries and sweet treats. The product range combines Finnish favourites with international delicacies, creating a one-stop-shop location for customers.

Growing SPAR Own Brand ranges

Alongside renowned local and international brands, customers at the new EUROSPAR supermarket Masku will find a growing and extensive selection of SPAR Own Brand products. Tokmanni’s partnership with SPAR International and the extensive procurement channels formed together with SPAR license holders worldwide offer Tokmanni the opportunity to sell SPAR Own Brand products to customers across the country. Through this leveraging the scale of SPAR’s international buying network, SPAR customers in Finland can enjoy SPAR Own Brand products ranging from Italian pastas to Dutch stroopwafels, with the assortment continuing to grow and be tailored to meet the needs of local Finnish customers. Currently, SPAR Own Brand products are on sale in SPAR Finland’s online store and in each of Tokmanni’s 200+ stores.

Strengthening the SPAR brand presence in Finland

Tokmanni, which became the license holder in Finland for the SPAR brand in 2025, opened its first EUROSPAR supermarket in Ylöjärvi in June, launching the return of the internationally renowned brand to Finland in two decades. The retail organisation is gradually transforming all of its food departments to embrace the international SPAR standard and aims to expand the EUROSPAR supermarket concept across Finland.
