Download imageSPAR Croatia recognises that customers are focused on proximity when purchasing their grocery shopping, particularly during these challenging times of the continuing pandemic. By opening this latest SPAR Supermarket, customers are able to purchase their daily needs even closer to home in a safe environment.
To ensure the maximum level of hygiene, SPAR Croatia tests all new employees for the COVID-19 virus. Before the start of every shift, the temperature of the employees is checked and all colleagues wear protective masks. To safeguard customers and employees further, Plexiglas protection screens have been installed instore while trolleys and baskets are disinfected several times a day. POS devices and all other surfaces are regularly cleaned.
In order to additionally protect the health of customers, free disposable protective masks are distributed at the entrance of the new SPAR Supermarket in Malešnica to all customers who do not have a mask. On the opening day at the end of December, employees distributed free, canvas masks with the text “I love Malešnica” to highlight SPAR’s support for the neighbourhood and the importance the company attaches to the safety of customers and staff.
The opening hours of the new SPAR Supermarket in Malešnica are from Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 9 pm, and on Sundays from 8 am to 2 pm.
