SPAR Hungary’s “Giving is a Joy!” campaign invites customers to purchase donation cards to fund school supplies for children in need, while SPAR Slovenia teamed up with the Anita Ogulin Association to collect 250 kg of school supplies and contributed €5,000 worth of school essentials. SPAR Hungary’s back-to-school range and fundraising campaign

SPAR Hungary is helping families prepare for the new school year with an extensive range of over 1,000 budget-friendly school supplies available at INTERSPAR Hypermarkets across the country, along with essential items in SPAR Supermarkets. As many customers shop in the last weeks of August, SPAR Hungary offers quality supplies at affordable prices and special promotions to ease the financial burden.

In partnership with the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, SPAR Hungary is also running its annual “Giving is a Joy!” campaign. From 1–31 August, customers can purchase donation cards at INTERSPAR Hypermarkets to support children in need. The funds raised will be used to provide school bags, pencil cases, and supply packages. SPAR Slovenia supports school children

SPAR and INTERSPAR stores in Slovenia joined forces with the Anita Ogulin Association to support children in need as they head back to school. Between 11 and 25 June 2025, customers donated about 250kg of school supplies. SPAR Slovenia supplemented the generous contributions with an additional donation valued at €5,000. The donation includes 200 backpacks, 700 notebooks, 150 folders and other essentials, ensuring a strong start to the school year for many children.

The collected school supplies were handed over in late July at the Anita Ogulin Association’s warehouse. From here, they were distributed through the “Chain of Good People” humanitarian programme. With the number of families in Slovenia needing help doubling in the past year, this initiative highlights the growing importance of community support and solidarity to ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed in school.
