SPAR China Partners in Shandong, Guangdong, and Yunnan are starting 2020 and the upcoming Lunar New Year’s period well equipped to offer customers a great shopping experience following the opening of twelve new stores in the last two months of 2019, reflecting the continued growth of the SPAR Brand by all partners in the country.

In November, SPAR Shandong opened two new stores on the same day. Located on the second floor of Inrich Mall, the Zibo Liuquan Road SPAR store has a prime position in Zibo’s Zhangdian district. Surrounded by theatres and shops, it offers an extensive assortment of global products allowing shoppers to explore flavours and cuisines from around the world.

The Zhangshang Yongchun South Street Huishang International Store is the first SPAR store in Zhangbei area. Located on the first floor of Huishang International tower, the 5500m² SPAR Hypermarket is ideally positioned near schools and established communities with convenient transportation options, making it an already popular one-stop shopping facility.

In December, SPAR Shandong again opened two new stores on the same day, offering shoppers tens of thousands of products from more than 100 countries. The 3000m² Binzhou IFC Store – the first SPAR Hypermarket in the city of Binzhou – is conveniently located on the second floor of Binzhou IFC Shopping Centre. Measuring more than 6000m², the SPAR Jinan Changqing SPAR Hypermarket is located near public facilities such as a hospital and schools, catering to the surrounding communities with an extensive product offer.

SPAR Guangdong opened two new stores at the beginning of December in the city of Dongguan.

A 280m² convenience store in the Kaida Community in Qiaotou and a 260m² SPAR store in the Biguiyuan Community in Dalingshan now provide a convenient and high-quality shopping experience to their respective communities.

SPAR Guangdong opened another two stores on 25 December in the western region of the province. The 705m² Yangjiao SPAR Supermarket offers a varied assortment of high-quality food and beverage products from around the world. The newly opened Huazhou Juzhou store is located in the Jiarong Shopping Mall, which is a comprehensive commercial complex with a variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment facilities.

Also at the end of 2019, SPAR Guangdong also opened a 5000m² SPAR Hypermarket in Dianbai district, as part of long-term strategic cooperation with Wanda Plaza Group, as well as a 1200m² SPAR Supermarket at Haizhu Wanda Plaza in the city of Guangzhou.

On New Year’s Day, SPAR Guangdong opened an additional two stores. The Zhuhai Wende Plaza Store is a hypermarket offering over 12000 SKUs on 5000m², providing a world-class one-stop shopping destination. The 1600m² Dongcheng Biguiyuan SPAR Hypermarket offers an assortment including over 8000 SKUs of imported products.

SPAR Yunnan opened the 3400m² SPAR Mile hypermarket, newly upgraded from the previous Jinfang Store, which now serves customers in a state-of-the-art shopping environment.
