Designed by SPAR Guangdong, Qingyuan Yangshan City Plaza Store is an international hypermarket with a sales area of 3,300m2. The spacious interior is clearly defined by overhead lighting panels that indicate what each section offers.
The store features various service counters and departments, ensuring a one-stop shopping experience. The assortment on offer at these service counters includes high-quality meats, fish, and seafood products such as imported Australian beef, Boston crayfish, and breaded crabs. The prepared food area provides a range of local and international hot and cold dishes that can be packaged for on the go or eaten at the store’s welcoming seating area.

Customer experience remains an essential priority for SPAR retailers in China, with significant attention being given to the instore environment as well as products and services, using state-of-the-art technologies.
SPAR Qingyuan Yangshan City Plaza Store features self-service checkouts, as well as a self-service area that provides free ice cubes, drinking water, and packaging options. Moreover, the prepared food area features a convenient self-service ordering system.
Continued expansion
This store opening follows six successful SPAR Supermarket openings in the provinces of Guangdong, Beijing, and Shandong between 13 March and 1 May.
Beyond offering a vast assortment of goods, all stores have implemented comprehensive measures – including mandatory face masks – to ensure that the health and safety of customers and team members are safeguarded.
