With their ingenuity, the young entrepreneurs enrich the existing product range, introducing new and innovative ideas that are appreciated by customers: “Along with promoting Austrian inventiveness, we are also able offer our customers the latest trends in food, household and leisure products, which is a win-win for all involved,” said SPAR Austria CEO, Gerhard Drexel.
“As a start-up, you have to do a lot of self-marketing,” said Johannes Ribeiro da Silva, a young entrepreneur who has benefitted from SPAR Austria’s support in getting his Verjuice product, SILVA, known.
Likewise, the founders of start-up, Sweetomio, said they would not be where they are today without the support of SPAR Austria’s Young & Urban programme: “Our goal was to launch a product that contains nothing that you would not use at home. Thanks to the placement of our baked products on SPAR Austria’s shelves, we were given a huge advantage.”
In terms of product and design development, quality management and production and marketing, SPAR Austria draws on six decades of industry experience and is delighted to pass on this extensive knowledge to young up and coming entrepreneurs.
