Since the lockdown began on March 12, the demand for online shopping has grown, with many customers now working from home or self-isolating. Customers have reacted enthusiastically to SPAR Albania’s online shopping solution, which can now also be accessed through a new mobile app, making the ordering process even more user-friendly.
Online shoppers can avail of SPAR Albania’s expansive selection of 1,000 products, ranging from fresh and ambient food, beverages, detergents, cosmetics, toys, and baby products with more items being continually added to the system. Currently, the service is available to all residents in Tirana and Durrës, but SPAR Albania are planning to make it available throughout the country.
The online shopping process is simple – customers can access the site www.shop.spar.al, or download the SPAR Albania App; select the products they need with the appropriate quantities, choose a delivery slot within the next 24 hours. there are three payment options – cash on delivery, bank transfer or card. Customers can also order groceries by e-mailing customercare@spar.al.
Orders valued over 5,000 leke are delivered at no cost. In order to maintain the freshness and quality which SPAR Albania is known for, all fresh products ordered online are transported in thermal bags.
Whilst hypermarkets have now re-opened, albeit operating with limited hours, SPAR Supermarkets are open from 6:30-17:30. As restrictions lift and opening hours are being extended, customers are able to spread their grocery shopping.
