Across August, DESPAR Italia saw seven new stores open across DESPAR and DESPAR Express formats, further growing the brand presence nationwide.

Four new DESPAR Express stores

The continued growth of the DESPAR Express store format brings daily essentials to customers. The opening of a new DESPAR Express in Vitulano offers a range of DESPAR Own Brand products, as well as a convenient and efficient shopping experience instore. In Calabria, two new DESPAR Express stores located in San Lorenzo and Caraffa del Bianco focus on convenience and quality.

In Calliano Monferrato, a new DESPAR Express store aims to become an integral part of the local community, offering a product range tailored to meet the needs of local customers. Instore, products from local suppliers are visible throughout, further growing the store’s relationship with the community.

Three new DESPAR Supermarkets

DESPAR Supermarkets provide complete assortments, focusing on freshness and meeting the needs of the communities in which they operate. DESPAR Italia welcomed three new DESPAR supermarkets in August. With a new DESPAR supermarket in Trieste, there are now 30 DESPAR Italia branded stores in the province. The supermarket has over 3,500 products available instore as well as specialised departments such as fruit and vegetables, bakery, delicatessen, butcher, and pizzeria.

A new DESPAR Supermarket in Cirò Marina further grows the brand in Calabria, offering an extensive grocery assortment focusing on freshness and quality. The new DESPAR Supermarket, which opened in Refrancore, is designed to meet the needs of locals, including dedicated promotions and products which are popular with local customers.
