Now live in-store, the web-based game gives customers the option to play daily and win a £10,000 grand prize voucher. The £10,000 grand prize can be used to fund the winner’s idea of a dream holiday, whether a beach break, a city holiday in style, a luxury countryside chillout, or something more adventurous and exotic.
In addition to the top prize, there will be the chance for customers to win £200 every day, win money-off vouchers, and claim one of thousands of instant rewards redeemable at participating SPAR stores.
SPAR customers can enter via www.10kgetaway.co.uk until Wednesday, 28 June 2023. The campaign has been launched by James Hall & Co. Ltd, SPAR UK’s primary wholesaler and distributor for Northern England, with a reward pool value of well over £100,000.
The promotion is similar to that of SPAR’s hugely popular ‘Win With Every Goal’ promotion held last winter which became James Hall & Co. Ltd’s most successful campaign ever.
Tom Murphy, Marketing Manager at James Hall & Co. Ltd, said: “We are delighted to launch our £10K To Getaway promotion. We considered several options for our big summer campaign, but with the continued cost of living crisis being felt by many of our customers, the prospect of playing for a £10,000 holiday voucher was something we felt would resonate well with people at this time. My thanks go to our much-valued suppliers for their commitment in providing an amazing prize pool.”

The UK became a SPAR member in 1956 when SPAR International granted the SPAR licence to a group of independent wholesalers. As a result, there are now five regional partners in the UK. A central office in London provides national marketing and buying services for the group.
SPAR has led the highly competitive convenience market in the UK for many years. Always innovative, the five regional partners continue to grow the brand. SPAR UK comprises independently owned licensed retailers and company-owned stores. These include forecourts, airports, train stations, city centres, and local neighbourhood stores.
