Next generation retailers: Carmen and Savannah Egling, South Africa – Contact International
The Egling family have been independent SPAR retailers in South Africa for over 20 years. Carmen and Savannah Egling, daughters of Mike and Leigh, grew up in their parents' store, and together, the sisters now run the KWIKSPAR store on iconic Kloof Street in Cape Town, expanding the family business with great success.
In our new issue of Contact International, we profile the Egling sisters, and share how they have taken on the challenge of turning the KWIKSPAR store on Kloof Steet around. Through their experiences, the sisters have grown both personally and professionally, rising to the occasion and now bringing a unique dynamic to retail and creating a shopping experience which meets the needs of a bustling area in Cape Town.
