In July, DESPAR Italia saw 10 stores open their doors to customers for the first time, while one store refurbishment was completed.

DESPAR Nord

A new 1,485m² EUROSPAR Supermarket in San Giorgio di Piano opened its doors to customers. The supermarket is located on a former bowling arena and is part of a significant rejuvenation of the area. Sustainability is a focus of the supermarket, with eco-friendly refrigeration units as well as energy-efficient LED lighting installed instore. For customers, a diverse product assortment provides the daily essentials, from fresh food to locally sourced products.

DESPAR Centro Sud

The DESPAR Centro Sud retail network grew further in July, with no less than six new stores openings. DESPAR Supermarkets located in Altino, SEllia Marina, Frosinone, Pulsano and Leverano provide customers with an enriched grocery offer, including a focus on DESPAR Own Brand products, locally sourced goods, and fresh produce alongside a welcoming shopping atmosphere.

A new INTERSPAR Hypermarket in Catanzaro Lido provides an extensive selection of products across various departments and a whole new shopping experience for customers. The renovated INTERSPAR Hypermarket in Lavello reopened its doors, boasting important renovations including LED lighting and sustainable refrigeration systems, alongside an improved product offer.

DESPAR Sicilia

In Sicily, the DESPAR consortium added a new supermarket in Lentini. This 180m² DESPAR Supermarket aims to offer quality products at competitive prices. The new opening also reinforces DESPAR Italia’s commitment to the local community through support of the local economy and providing job opportunities.

DESPAR Sardegna

Sardinia welcomed the opening of two more stores: a DESPAR Express in Alghero, and a DESPAR Supermarket in Siniscola. These stores offer a wide selection of local products, ready meals and all the essentials for daily shopping. These stores will bolster the local economy and provide employment on the island.
