Updated and modern

Around 300m2 of commercial space in each store has recently been modernised, providing a more pleasant shopping experience. The SPAR Supermarkets retained all employees, providing a professional and friendly service to shoppers, including in exclusive areas for fresh local produce, delicacies and butchery.

Environmental decisions

During the renovations, sustainable changes increased the energy efficiency instore through the installation of state-of-the-art closed vertical refrigerators and freezers, along with LED lightning for optimised energy consumption. The introduction of electronic shelf labels will result in paper use reduction.  The changes help SPAR Gran Canaria with its sustainability commitment and reduce the carbon footprint of the business.
