In the picturesque village of Scone in Perthshire, Scotland, you will find SPAR Abbey Road, which was established by the Hutchison family in 1958, and has now been serving the local community for over 65 years.

SPAR Abbey Road is owned and operated by second generation SPAR retailer Susan Hutchison. Susan’s father Ernie first started the business in 1958 at the site where the store still stands today. When her father retired in 2005, Susan took over the business from him, and she has been running the store ever since. Her son Ryan joined her in 2013, making him the third generation in the family to work in the store.

With a presence in Scone for 65+ years, the Hutchison family and SPAR Abbey Road are pillars of the community.
