It is particularly important to us to create awareness for young people in difficult situations through targeted campaigns and to be able to support them”, said INTERSPAR Austria Managing Director Johannes Holzleitner.
The SOS Children’s Village Altmünster in Upper Austria has been offering a loving home to children and young people since 1955. The renovation of the village is currently underway, with the goal of offering the 100 children and young people living there at the time of writing a carefree youth. The end goal is to ensure they can later start an independent life with confidence and strength.
Over the years, INTERSPAR Austria has carried out various fundraising sales campaigns in which SOS Children’s Villages benefit not only from the proceeds but also from the visibility in media and to society. “INTERSPAR Austria has been supporting us since 2004 and we are very grateful for this long-standing and reliable cooperation”, explained Christian Moser, Managing Director of SOS Children’s Villages Austria.
During the nineteen years of support, INTERSPAR Austria has donated nearly €1.9 million to SOS Children’s Villages.
