The EUROSPAR Supermarket in Hartstown has taken a bold step forward in its sustainability journey with the unveiling of Ireland’s first Envipco QUANTUM reverse vending machine. This state-of-the-art technology is designed to transform the recycling experience for the local community, offering a fast, hygienic, and user-friendly way to return beverage containers.

The QUANTUM machine, designed for high-volume environments such as supermarkets, can process up to 120 containers per minute through a continuous bulk-feed system. With industrial-sized collection bins and advanced compaction technology, it is the first of its kind in operation in Ireland, delivering unmatched efficiency and convenience.

Photovoltaic panel installations and an expansive refrigeration infrastructure are also in place to reduce energy consumption and its carbon footprint.
