Sustainability Award for EUROSPAR Carrickmacross

Under the management of Seamus Bishop, and following a significant investment from owners and operators BWG Foods, the EUROSPAR Carrickmacross supermarket has an absolute commitment to sustainability at the forefront, boasting energy-efficient initiatives throughout. These innovations include cutting-edge refrigeration units, energy efficient lighting, as well as a comprehensive infrastructure optimisation initiative aimed at identifying energy efficiency opportunities across all aspects of retailing, including heating limiters, timed lighting, and regular technology maintenance.

The success of this supermarket is predicated upon a customer-centric approach and a commitment to Responsible Retailing, which is at the core of the EUROSPAR brand offering in Ireland. Paying compliment, EUROSPAR Ireland Sales Director Peter Dwan said, “I want to congratulate Seamus Bishop and all the team in EUROSPAR Carrickmacross on this wonderful acknowledgement. We are very proud of the sustainability credentials of this store and this is a wonderful achievement for the team.”
