The Championships start on 20 June with athletes representing their nation in the First and Second Division competing in the morning and evening sessions respectively. The First Division competition begins on 23 June and sees Poland defending its title. Throughout the week, 2,000 athletes from 48 countries will be competing in their teams, all striving to be crowned European Athletics Team Champion. Additionally, 800 volunteers will be onsite across the six days to support the organisers in many different areas and without whom competitions of this nature could not be held.
All competitions of the Championships can be watched live via the European Athletics livestream platform with daily morning and evening sessions. Fans can follow the action on the dedicated Facebook event page where competition updates, team announcements, videos, and more will be shared leading up to and during the event.
As the principal sponsor of the European Athletics since 1996, SPAR will have a strong brand presence across all three divisions. The brand support will be highlighted through television broadcasting, livestreaming, sportscasters, and digital media coverage of the event.
The passion that European Athletics and the athletes have for the sport comes through in everything they do; be it on the track or in the field. This kind of passion and belief in working together is also seen throughout the global SPAR family.
