SPAR International’s Learning Platform, launched last year and comprising the SPAR Learning Website and the SPAR Academy, was designed to support SPAR Partners and Retailers around the world with the professional development and training of their employees, whether they be on the shop floor, in a Distribution Centre (DC) or at a central office.

The SPAR Learning Website

The SPAR Learning Website is targeted at both managers and trainers, with material available on all areas of the SPAR business.

SPAR International can support you in setting up a local training programme through this site, benefiting from the materials available, such as webinars and key guidelines. Middle and senior managers in all areas – Retail Design & Communications to Supply Chain & Retail Operations – will by inspired by the case studies, key learnings and quick wins.

SPAR Talent has not been left out with the international talent exchange programmes meeting their needs. You can submit secondment openings and apply for colleagues to do internships in other countries. The SPAR Academy

The SPAR Academy is designed to support and complement the local training of our SPAR store, DC and central office employees around the world through ready-to-use courses. These are provided within a secure Learning Management System (LMS) that you can tailor by uploading your own materials, managing your own training data and course topics. The Academy software is available in 25 languages and both the LMS and the courses are mobile compatible.

The online Academy includes interactive 2D courses, targeted initially at retail staff, and will in time be extended to offer training for DC and office employees. The Academy offer also includes a state-of-the-art 3D Retail Game, which is designed to help store employees learn key retail and service skills in a fun and engaging way.
