In October, the DESPAR Italia consortium welcomed the opening of new and modernised stores across the North and South-Central regions.

DESPAR North

In the North of the country, DESPAR Nord announced three new store openings. In Emilia Romagna, the EUROSPAR Supermarket in Spilamberto offers a wide range of fresh and local products as part of a one-stop-shop for customers. The new EUROSPAR Supermarket, located in Castelnuovo Rangone in Modena, spans across 1,500m² with a comprehensive product offer, including an extensive selection of products from the local region. Both supermarkets include sustainable initiatives, including eco-friendly refrigerators and LED lighting. A DESPAR Supermarket was opened in the province of Udine, in Pasian di Prato, with a focus on convenient shopping on the move.

In addition, a number of modernised stores across the DESPAR Nord territory reopened their doors. The EUROSPAR Supermarket in San Donà di Piave, two INTERSPAR Hypermarkets in Rovigo and Adria, and two DESPAR Supermarkets in Bressanone and Trieste opened their doors to customers following modernisation.

DESPAR South-Central

In the South-Central region of the country, three new stores joined the DESPAR Centro Sud retail network in Arpino, Ruvo di Puglia, and Adelfia. Each supermarket provides fresh departments, locally soured products, and a range of DESPAR Italia own brand products as part of the overall product offering.
