During the certification process, Si Cert Italy reviewed policies such as employee protection from discrimination, welfare and parenthood policieis measure, gender-balanced recruitment, and career development strategies.
In 2022, Maiora became the first retailer in Southern Italy to receive the Equal Salary certification. This confirmed equal pay for men and women with the same qualifications and roles. The new Gender Equality Certification further highlights Maiora’s position as a leader in sustainability and diversity in the Italian retail sector.
This newest certification demonstrates Maiora’s continued journey in enhancing the working environment and wellbeing for employees. Indeed, Maiora has held the prestigious Top Employer recognition from the Top Employers Institute each year since 2023, showcasing Maiora as a high-performing company in HR practices.
