Across the country, DESPAR Italia and it’s regional partners welcomed eight new stores operating under the DESPAR Express format. The Piedmont region saw a new DESPAR Express store open in Buttigliera d’Asti. In Puglia, a new DESPAR Express store in Barletta meets the needs of customers with an offering focused on convenience, speed, and choice. The province of Cosenza celebrated the opening of two stores in Cirella and Santa Maria del Cedro.
Meanwhile, Calabria saw the opening of three new DESPAR Express stores. The new DESPAR Express store in San Mango d’Aquino offers a shopping environment tailored to the needs of the local community, including a range of DESPAR Own Brand products. In the same region, new stores in Laureana di Borrello, as well as Mosorrofa, provide a varied offer of renowned and local products.
Providing a wide-ranging assortment focusing on fresh and local, three new DESPAR supermarkets opened their doors to customers for the first time. In Puglia, the new DESPAR supermarket in Modugno brings an enhanced shopping experience in close proximity to the city of Bari. Two new DESPAR supermarkets opened in the province of Catanzaro in Calabria. Both stores, located in San Pietro Apostolo and Tiriolo, are characterised by their selection of locally sourced products.
The larger format EUROSPAR supermarket in Carpi provides a true one-stop shop location for customers’ shopping needs. This new EUROSPAR supermarket is a core part of the redevelopment of the area and has sustainability at the forefront. This includes more than 230 photovoltaic panels, a remotely managed vertical garden, low-impact systems and a planting project that has already led to the planting of 79 trees and 252 shrubs.
