In August, DESPAR Italia consortium partner for Central-South continued to grow in the region with the opening of two stores and the refurbishment of one store.

DESPAR Supermarkets

In Cerratina in the province of Pescara, a new DESPAR Supermarket opened its doors. The new shop stands out for its wide range of products, particularly in fresh produce. The fresh assortment includes a butchery, delicatessen and fruit and vegetable departments, all offering quality products. The grocery assortment also include a range of DESPAR Italia own brand products.

In addition, the DESPAR Supermarket in Altamura reopened its doors following extensive renovations. This supermarket provides the daily essentials for the local community, with an emphasis on fresh produce.

New EUROSPAR Supermarket

Shoppers celebrated the opening of a new EUROSPAR Supermarket in Torremaggiore. The supermarket underlines DESPAR Italia’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, and has been equipped with state-of-the-art CO2 refrigeration technology and LED lighting systems, which guarantee significant energy efficiency. The product assortment is extensive instore, ranging from fresh produce, to grocery, food and drinks, as well as non-food.
