DESPAR Italia network grows further in May

With eight new openings in Italy's Central South region and a new DESPAR Supermarket in Turin, DESPAR Italia's store network continues to grow in 2024.

DESPAR Centro Sud

A total of eight new stores opened in the Central South region in the country, seven DESPAR Supermarkets and one EUROSPAR Supermarket. Two DESPAR Supermarkets opened in the province of Salerno. Meanwhile, the province of Lazio welcomed a new DESPAR in Borgorose. In the province of Matera, four DESPAR Supermarkets opened for the first time, in Pomarico, Pisticci, Ferrandina, and Marconia (MT). Each DESPAR Supermarket caters to customers with attention paid to fresh produce ranging from fruit and vegetables to bakery and butchery, a rich grocery assortment and DESPAR Own Brand products.

Further South, a new EUROSPAR Supermarket was unveiled in Tricase. The Supermarket stands out for its wide assortment of own brand products and a variety of quality departments such as fresh produce, designed to meet the different needs of local consumers.

DESPAR Nord Ovest

In the Northwest of the country, DESPAR Nord Ovest cut the ribbons for a new DESAPR Supermarket in Turin. Located on Via San Donato, the new supermarket consolidates the DESPAR Brand presence in the city. The DESPAR Supermarket covers 350m2 with an innovative concept that highlights locally sourced Italian products, as well as DESPAR Own Brand ranges. The store design is also catered toward an enhanced customer experience with the introduction of sustainable solutions including LED lights and eco-friendly refrigerated cabinets.
