Across the DESPAR Italia consortium, new and redeveloped stores are opening to meet the continued needs of customers nationwide.

DESPAR Nord Ovest

The North West of Italy saw new and renovated DESPAR branded stores open doors to customers. A new DESPAR Express store located in the heart of Turin has been developed to meet the needs of the local community, offering a wide range of fresh products. This store also includes sustainable solutions instore as well as home delivery.

In Corso Alessandria, the DESPAR Supermarket reopened after a complete renovation. A redesigned layout, food-to-go department and butchery improve the shopping experience for customers. Additionally, sustainable features are a focus in the store, including CO₂ refrigeration systems, LED lighting and sustainable refrigeration units.

DESPAR Centro Sud

In the Central-South region, DESPAR Centro Sud further expanded its store portfolio with the openings of DESPAR Supermarkets in Capo Rizzuto and Soriano Calabro. Both stores focus on fresh produce with fruit and vegetables, butchers, and delicatessens at the heart of the instore offer.

The new EUROSPAR Supermarket in Sant’Antonio Abate marked significant growth for the DESPAR brand in Campania and investment in the region. Two new DESPAR Express stores in Bari and Catanzaro offer an assortment with a focus on food-to-go as well as fresh produce and DESPAR Own Brand products.

Additionally, the DESPAR Supermarkets in Santa Teresa di Gallura and Vasto reopened after extensive renovations, providing an improved store layout and grocery offer for customers, including fresh produce. The INTERSPAR Hypermarket in Vibonati also reopened after a large-scale restyling, with a focus on sustainable solutions such as LED lighting, CO₂ refrigeration systems, and low environmental impact air conditioning. Instore, the offer now includes a wide range of departments including food-to-go, fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery, fishmonger, flower department, and more.

DESPAR Sicilia

In Sicily, DESPAR Sicilia welcomed a new store in Giardinello, providing customers with a wide range of quality products, including fresh departments. Meanwhile, the redeveloped DESPAR Supermarket in Acate is designed to offer customers a more modern shopping experience through its instore design and enhanced product assortment.

DESPAR Messina

Elsewhere in Sicily, DESPAR Messina opened a new DESPAR Supermarket in Faro Superiore. This new store is located in a renovated building and is designed to meet the needs of locals in Faro Superiore and the surrounding area through its product assortment.

The EUROSPAR Supermarket in Villafranca Tirrena once again welcomes customers after extensive renovations. The store layout and product offerings have been expanded and updated to meet customer needs in this densely populated part of the Messina province.

DESPAR Sardegna

In Sardinia, a new DESPAR Supermarket in Mandas saw further growth of the DESPAR brand on the island. This new supermarket offers a range of fresh and local produce to customers, including a butchery, as well as local delicacies.
