Contact International issue 4 for 2025 out now

December 3, 2025 IN THE CATEGORY: Feature articles

Our fourth and final issue of the SPAR Contact International magazine for 2025 is now available, taking a look at some outstanding examples of SPAR brand success and values coming to life.

In this new issue of Contact International, we showcase how the SPAR brand globally has achieved significant milestones in a turbulent retail environment.

In South Africa, two next generation retailers, sisters Carmen and Savannah Egling, have successfully taken on the challenge of revamping the KWIKSPAR store on Kloof Street into a true shopping destination which is known throughout the city and beyond.

We profile the SPAR Express Paceville store in Malta, one of the premium locations for food-to-go worldwide which was named as a Top-12 Finalist for Best Foodvenience Store in the World 2025 by Global Convenience. Meanwhile, further store development in the latter half of the year has led to fantastic stores opening across the global SPAR network.

Two important events in the SPAR calendar: the SPAR Connected Retail Conference and SPAR Supply Chain Conference, brought together 170 colleagues from 26 countries to share developments and insights across two rapidly evolving areas of grocery retail.

Additionally, we highlight a series of initiatives from SPAR UK and its regional wholesalers which provide support to people and organisations throughout the nation, reaffirming that SPAR is a truly local retailer. To round out this issue, we look at the success of some of our licensed SPAR organisations, which have taken home prestigious awards across a variety of focus areas.
