Payconiq
Download imageSPAR is the first food retailer in the country to offer shoppers the opportunity to use Payconiq payment services, a technology that works on all types of phones and which is compatible with all local banks.
Customers with the Payconiq app installed on their smartphones can now pay for their SPAR grocery items with the technology by viewing a QR code at the checkout, scanning it with the payment app and validating the payment with a pincode or fingerprint.
Checkout system supplier, Centric, has made it possible to view the QR code on checkout displays.
