Best HR strategy
SPAR India’s move to align its HR strategy with the overarching organisation strategy resulted in them receiving the title of Best HR Strategy of the Year at the 2018 Indian Retail Awards. SPAR India’s goal is to become a preferred employer in the Indian retail industry by 2020. It aims to achieve this by living up to its HR vision and mission of continuously driving business growth through people development.
The Indian Retail Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the retail industry in the country, recognising the industry’s finest retailers.
Best Social Media brand
SPAR India received a silver award for the Best Social Media Brand in the Retail category at the 2018 SAMMIE Awards. The award is recognition of the company’s dedication to growing the brand’s social media presence.
The SAMMIE Awards is one of the biggest social media marketing accolades in India, promoting best practice standards in the Indian Social Media industry.
Marketing Campaign of the Year
At the 2018 CMO Asia Awards, SPAR India received an award for Marketing Campaign of the Year in the Retail category for its Season of Joy and Celebrate India campaigns.
CMO Asia is a global community of over 17,000 executives dedicated to high-level knowledge exchange.
Best Social Cause Award
SPAR India also won the Best Social Cause Case Study Award for its Season of Joy Christmas campaign, at the 2018 Lighthouse Insights Digital Marketing Awards.
With its Season of Joy campaign, SPAR India invited consumers to donate a Christmas present to children in need at the SOS Children’s Village, India. Thanks to the generosity of its customers, the company was able to make a difference and hand over presents to all children at the charity, making a difference to the lives of many on Christmas day.
Lighthouse Insights Digital Marketing Awards is an online awards programme, which also publishes an eBook honouring the amazing work of award winners.
