SPAR Switzerland opens new supermarket in Schaffhausen

October 17, 2022 IN THE CATEGORY: Store openings

SPAR Switzerland on 15 September opened a new store in the Mühletal quarter in Schaffhausen, a new residential and business area located at the site of a former steel foundry. The 300m2 store offers a good choice of fresh food, everyday groceries, ready-to-heat and ready-to-eat convenience options.

Store Manager Claudia Egger and her team members run the new store with great enthusiasm and pride. Convenience products are prepared daily in the store by a team trained in this area. Customers can choose from a variety of muesli, fruit bowls, salads, and sandwiches.

In addition to various types of bread, the SPAR Supermarket offers a range of sweet baked goods sourced from a local bakery. A dedicated coffee corner offers fresh Bean Tree coffee as a self-service option where customers can sit down and have a break. In addition to the staffed checkout, there are two self-scanning checkouts available.

Customers visiting the store in the first two weeks could enjoy a free coffee with a pastry or be treated to beer tasting. Prizes were up for grabs in a dedicated lottery and the youngest visitors were entertained in a play area.
