SPAR Scotland announces reopening of SPAR store in Lawthorn

The SPAR Scotland store in Lawthorn near Irvine, North Ayrshire, reopened after receiving a new look and feel following investment and renewal.

SPAR Lawthorn is owned and operated by SPAR UK partner for Scotland, CJ Lang & Son Ltd. The 153m² store has been fully refurbished with new energy-efficient refrigeration, shelving, flooring, ceiling, lighting as well as fresh internal and external graphics. The food-to-go offering has also been expanded to include an enhanced hot foods offer. Instore, shoppers can avail of a host of great value deals on key food and drink items.

Grand re-opening

Local residents and shoppers celebrated with a relaunch party at the unveiling in February. Customers enjoyed a SPAR spinning wheel giving away 100 goody bags and a variety of prizes. There were special offers on a host of SPAR own brand products and leading branded food and drink items.

Supporting the community

SPAR Scotland supports the communities its stores operate in and also their local neighbourhoods. A donation of £500 was given to Lawthorn Primary School and £500 worth of SPAR vouchers were given to the foodbank and Warm Spaces at The Girdle Toll Parish Church, reflecting this community spirit.
