The 685m2 SPAR Supermarket’s instore range includes fresh produce, fruit and vegetables, bakery, as well as served counters for fish and seafood, delicatessen, cheese, meat and food-to-go. It also features a dedicated section for organic products. A fresh juice bar, ice cream, and CENSA Coffee barista counter further enhance the instore shopping experience. This latest SPAR Supermarket is located in the Fareej Bin Mahmoud neighbourhood of Doha, an area known for its residential buildings, cafés and restaurants, hotels, and commercial outlets.
A team of 30 people runs the SPAR store, providing new employment opportunities for the local community. All equipment selected during the development process was chosen based on energy efficiency and sustainability features. In compliance with Qatar’s sustainability regulations, only paper bags are used. The SPAR Supermarket also offers convenient self-checkouts, which has been welcomed by customers.
