The 65th International SPAR Congress 2022 kicks off tomorrow in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In celebration of SPAR’s 90th anniversary, delegates will be coming together to mark the occasion, in the country where the brand was founded in 1932 and the event will be live-streamed for SPAR Partners to be a part of the event.

The annual SPAR Congress is the highlight of the SPAR events calendar, bringing together SPAR colleagues from all over the world to share best practice. Congress sessions will cover global best practice, market trends, and future growth using digital, in a series of presentations, interviews and panel discussions.

Keynote speakers

Keynote speakers, including Dr Ira Kalish, Deloitte, Viktor Mayer-Schönberger, University of Oxford, René Boender, Great opportunities Worldwide, Martijn Lopes Cardozo, Circle Economy, Jitse Groen, Just Eat Takeaway.com, Stefan Hyttfors and Maayke-Aimée Damen, WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development will give updates on trends in the industry, throughout the end-to-end supply chain, the impact of legislative change on the global SPAR organisation, and the impact of economic forces.

Expo

To complement the Congress sessions, a diverse Expo will be included, giving participants the opportunity to see international best practice in retail fit-out and retail concepts, and innovation in wholesale and in shopping experience.

Livestream

Extending the access to the two days of presentations, a livestream will be available for all SPAR partners to join. The dedicated platform can be reached via the livestream tab or by using the url. SPAR partners have received log-in information to follow the livestream which can be heard in English, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian.
