New EUROSPAR in Norway welcomes queues of eager customers

April 25, 2019 IN THE CATEGORY: Store openings

Hundreds of enthusiastic shoppers lined up for the opening of EUROSPAR Strandveien recently – the newest SPAR store to open in Norway. Located in Tromsø, the largest city in northern Norway, customers travelled from far and wide to be there on the opening day, hoping to take advantage of the many attractive deals.

Flagship SPAR store

SPAR Norway CEO, Ole Fjeldheim believes that right now, EUROSPAR Strandveien is the best store in their portfolio of nearly 300 SPAR Supermarkets in the country, setting a new standard in one of the country’s most demanding markets where the competition is high. Also present at the opening was Tobias Wasmuht, Managing Director of SPAR International, who was blown away by the number of customers waiting to enter the new EUROSPAR Supermarket.

A key destination department is the fruit & veg section, which is situated at the entrance to the store. This is followed by an inviting offering of baked goods and attractive fresh food counters.

The large supermarket with a sales area of 3,000m2 offers customers an extensive assortment of products and services. It is the place to come for those looking for bargains with stacks of bulk products on offer in the large value aisles.
