Gruppo 3A, DESPAR Italia operator in the North West of Italy, welcomed the opening of two DESPAR Express locations in Nibbiano and Zavattarello. Both stores are designed to offer customers a compact and efficient shopping experience designed to meet their daily needs. Tailored assortments are required for these local communities, with the DESPAR Express stores being a core part of both Nibbiano and Zavattarello. Fresh is a strong focus instore, alongside the support which is provided for local producers to bring their products to shelves.
Across the regions which the DESPAR brand is present, DESPAR Italia and the regional companies as part of the consortium opened new and modernised supermarkets. In Trentino Alto Adige, the DESPAR supermarket in Canazei reopened after extensive modernisations, catering to one of the busiest and touristic locations in the Dolomites. Further South, in Calabria, the renovated DESPAR supermarket in Melicucco provides an enhanced shopping experience, with particular focus paid to fresh produce. In Sardinia, the DESPAR supermarket in Liscia di Vacca was also modernised to meet the needs of the local community as well as the seasonal tourists during the summer.
DESPAR Sicily celebrated the opening of two DESPAR supermarkets in May. The DESPAR supermarket in Leonforte, as well as in Marsala, have been created to align closely with local customer needs, and provides employment for the local area.
