De Traay is founded in 1977 as an organic company by Wouter Vuijk, with a passion for beekeeping and honey. Nowadays we are one of the leading honey processing companies in Europe. We produce and market our own brands de Traay and Melvita for the Benelux market. We produce private labels for national and international retailers and we process honey for industrial purposes. De Traay stands for perfect quality: carefully selected honey, which is being processed according to controlled procedures. Our company is BRC-8 and IFS certified.
