SPAR Kosovo response to COVID-19 outbreak

SPAR which operates 3 stores in the capital city Pristina and one store in Ferizaj, very quickly took a number of measures instore to reduce the spread of COVID-19, thereby protecting both its colleagues and customers.

Protecting employees and customers

Amongst other measures, very thorough cleaning procedures including shopping trollies and baskets has been implemented. Communications instore include clear demarcations of the safe distance to keep at cash desks .

Over and above the usual protective clothing for specific departments, all colleagues now have access to masks and gloves.

Home delivery solutions

Shoppers living in Pristina can now order groceries for free home delivery, selecting one of three food boxes with a value of either €20, €30 or €50.  The delivery can be made within 24-hours from time of placing the order.

A special ordering telephone number which can be reached using popular channels WhatsApp and Viber is making the process easier for customers. Alternatively, the website platform can be used.
