Delegates opting in to see Cape Town will be flown to Cape Town International Airport from Durban, with a flight time of approximately two hours with pre-booked flights based on registration details.
The Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel is located in the bustling waterfront area of Cape Town. From this hotel, it is possible to not only see the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean but also the private marina. After being transferred to the hotel from the airport on dedicated buses and checking in, delegates can visit any of the many venues at the Waterfront.
The stay in Cape Town will kick off with a joint dinner in a venue located only a short walk from the hotel. This venue captures the quintessential charm and colloquial effervescence of the bustling city vibe whilst offering a relaxed atmosphere.
SUNDAY 28 MAY
The rich Winelands of Stellenbosh, Franschoek and Paarl for which the Cape region is known will be enjoyed today. During the day, visitors will not only have an opportunity to taste world-renowned wines at a variety of wine estates including Babylonstoren, Ruperts & Rothchild, Glen Carlou, Delaire Graaf and Tokara, but will also enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the quality estates.
This evening will be free, enabling visitors to explore at their leisure a little more of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, where there are many dining options to choose from.
MONDAY 29 MAY
Cape Province has a rich cultural heritage and landscape that is a marked contrast to the KwaZulu Natal province visited earlier in the week. Visitors opting in for the Cape Town stay will be asked to pre-select one of three tours to explore Cape Town at an additional cost.
Choose either the half-day city and the world-famous Table Mountain tour with visits to the Malay Quarter, Flower Market, Castle of Good Hope and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront; or the half-day Cape Point tour with a visit also to Simon’s Town, Chapman’s Peak Drive, and the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach; or choose the half-day Robben Island tour, taking the ferry across Table Bay to the Island, visiting the prison and seeing the historic village.
All visitors will have the afternoon at leisure, with transport included in the tours back to the Radisson Blu hotel. Lunch can be enjoyed at Den Anker restaurant at own cost, if desired.
The closing dinner will be held at Baia Restaurant, a venue known for its fine cuisine and wine. Just a short distance away from our hotel at the Victoria Wharf, delegates will be treated to a seafood extravaganza in the spectacular surroundings of this renowned restaurant.
TUESDAY 30 MAY
Visitors will be transferred back to Cape Town International Airport for their return journey. Details of the transfer schedule will be provided.
