SPAR Retailer nominated for FMI Store Manager Awards

We are delighted to announce that Joanne Walker, Store Manager of EUROSPAR Carrowdore in Northern Ireland, has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious International Store Manager Awards run by the US based Food Marketing Institute (FMI). The Award winners will be announced at the FMI Future Leaders event on 15-17 May in Louisville, USA.

Joanne is a more than worthy finalist, having won various National awards in the past. She is an assessor for internal development and as such enrolled in the Retail Leadership Development Programme run by SPAR UK Partner Henderson Group.

In addition to the Store Manager Award, FMI also hands out a People’s Pick Award for the finalist with the most votes on the FMI Facebook page.

We therefore ask our global SPAR community to support Joanne in being selected for the People’s Pick Award.
