SPAR International is partnering with SPAR Hungary to support the close to 1,000 athletes participating in the event, which runs from 5 – 8 July. These young athletes will represent a total of 48 countries and for many of them, the Championships will be their first taste of international competition.
Open to athletes born in either 2001 or 2002, the U18 Championships will be held at the Radnoti Street Sports Centre, with the city of Gyor providing a splendid backdrop.
Local SPAR support
SPAR Hungary will provide substantial on-the-ground support at the U18 Championships with its SPAR tent offering own brand product tastings and many fun, educational games for kids. The SPAR Partner will also supply event volunteers with 1,500 goodie bags containing a SPAR enjoy sandwich, fruit and a healthy drink.
Events like this not only increase awareness of the SPAR Brand globally, they also provide opportunities for SPAR Partners to generate exciting marketing campaigns. In the lead up to the Championships, SPAR Hungary has marketed the event on its various social media channels, in its Newsletter and through instore promotional leaflets and posters – helping to create awareness and support for the local athletes.
